The new Marvels toys, a nice set of 8 characters inspired by the latest Marvel Studio's movie The Marvels due in cinemas on 10 November 2023, are the result of the latest collaboration between fast food giant McDonald's and Marvel Studios. This regional release of these McDonalds toys is limited to the US, Central America and South America only.
The Marvel McDonalds toys can be scanned into a phone or tablet that gives access to interactive games via the happymeal.com app.
The new Marvels happy meal toys 2023 are similar to previous McDonald's Marvel toys released in the last few years. The 2023 Marvel toys are easily identified by the circular grey bases as opposed to square ones like previous editions.
Each toy has some form of arm action like punching (eg Nick Fury) controlled by a button at the back. The exceptions are: Princess Carol that can spin 360 degrees and Marvel's Goose that has a starfish in it's mouth that spins around when the button on the back is pushed.
The Marvel happy meal toys are nicely styled and finished right down to the hair and colour of lipstick worn. Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel both wear the familiar blue and red uniform while Photon is in black and white as seen in the movie. The Kree Supremor Dar-Benn looks very cool in an all green outfit and wielding a staff weapon that moves up and down.
Included in the Marvels McDonalds toys 2023 set are the following action figures:

The Marvels McDonald's toys also have a special happy meal box with Marvel-themed artwork. Another part of the promotion includes free printable The Marvels activity sheets that includes coloring pages featuring Photon, Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel. The promotion will finish sometime around the end of August 2023 so there is still time to collect all the happy meal toys in the set. To avoid disappointment get in early though as stocks don't always last.
