McDonalds Smurfs 2 happy meal toys 2013 were promoted at McDonalds restaurants throughout Australia and New Zealand during September 2013 as a tie-in with the Smurfs 2 movie. This is a large set of 14 character toys which was available for a limited time delighting collectors who were keen to get their hands on the full set of Smurfs toys.

Collector Notes 

This set of McDonalds Smurf 2 happy meal toys is larger than the sets released in Asia which ranged from 10 to 12 toys depending on the country. Smurfs 2 toys released in Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan and Philippines all had 12 toys although the lineup of toys varies from the Australia and New Zealand sets with the addition of Baker Smurf and Handy Smurf.

Meanwhile the Smurfs sets promoted in USA and Canada had a complement of 16 Smurf 2 toys and also include the Baker Smurf and Handy Smurf toys. The McDonalds UK Smurf set also had 16 toys but there were some variations from the North American and Asian sets.

The Australia and New Zealand McDonalds Smurfs 2 happy meal toys promotion for 2013 is made up of 14 hard plastic toys featuring some fun Smurf characters.

The McDonalds Mr Men Little Miss promotion ran over a period of 5 weeks. The Mr Men Little Miss figures came in pairs in each happy meal bag: one Mr Men character and one Little Miss character. The figures are approximately 3 cms high and are made of hard plastic.

Sanitarium Weetbix All Blacks Stat Attack Rugby Cards 2021

Sanitarium Weet-bix are giving away from August 2021 for a limited time only, All Blacks Stat Attack rugby cards in Weet-bix cereals sold in New Zealand. Four million Stat Attack cards are available across the country released in both the 750 gram Weetbix boxes (3 cards) and the 1.2 kgs boxes (4 cards). There are 40 cards to collect to make up the full set including 8 Legends cards, one coach card and a special limited edition Jonah Lomu card.

Limited Edition Card - Gold Jonah Lomu
The special Jonah Lomu card is gold and features an action shot of Lomu (different from the Legend card) together with his stats and facsimile signature. There are only 500 limited edition Jonah Lomu cards available some of which have already been auctioned for charity. The limited circulation obviously is going to make this a highly sought after card amongst collectors although how high that price will go is yet to be determined.

The Weetbix All Blacks Stat Attack 2021 promotion is already proving very popular with collectors, adults and kids alike, are consuming mountains of Weet-bix as they race to complete their set. One parent commented on Facebook "My son is obsessed with collecting these weetbix cards! He eats 5 and my hubby 10 so we can get thru a box pretty quickly."

On first glance it is easy to confuse this year's Weet-Bix Stat Attack cards with the 2019 All Blacks cards. This year the blue background has been retained and the size and format of the cards is the same. What sets the two years apart you will notice is that the 2021 iteration has a red highlight running through the stats on all regular player cards.

This year the Sanitarium Weetbix cards feature a picture of a player in action with their name underneath in block letters. Information about the player's height, weight, test caps, test points, all blacks numbers, success percentage and for fun the number of Weet-Bix eaten. Centre bottom of the card is the card number highlighted in red.

Two logos are displayed on the rear of the cards: Weet-Bix (top) and All Blacks (bottom). The rest of the space is taken up with Stat Attack 2021 Official Game Cards all set against an attracive dark blue shaded background.

Apart from the regular standard cards (31 in all) this collection also features legend cards as it has done in previous Stat Attack releases. There are eight legend cards to collect and all feature a player who has been incredibly successful on the field but has also been selected for their outstanding contribution to the promotion of the game of rugby.

These All Blacks rugby cards are more than a collectible card series they are also a card game. The game has been reinvented from the previous Stat Attack game a decade ago and involves physically dealing the cards and comparing players statistics in a head-to-head match. The rules of the game are printed on the back of each Weetbix box and are also featured in the album and can be viewed online on the weetbix official website.

As part of the promotion Sanitarium Weet-Bix have issued an official album and collector tin which are available from participating supermarkets. The official albums which retail for NZ $6.00 contain a lot more information about each player and are a nice collectible in themselves for storing the cards in pristine condition. The collector tin is good for gamers who want to carry their cards around with them in readiness for battle.

While in previous years cardboard collector boxes were supplied free inside Weet-Bix cereal boxes these are now printed on the rear of Weet-Bix boxes and can be cut out and used to carry the cards around in.

McDonalds Space Jam Toys 2021 - A New Legacy Happy Meal

McDonalds Space Jam: A New Legacy happy meal toys 2021 were promoted at McDonalds restaurants around the world and in Australia and New Zealand during August and early September 2021. This collection of McDonalds Space Jam toys was part of a global tie-in with the recent animated movie - Space Jam: A New Legacy featuring Looney Tunes characters and basketball legend LeBron James. There are 14 different toys Looney Tunes themed toys to collect including two exclusive toys not promoted in many other regions around the world.

McDonalds Space Jam Toys 2021

The McDonalds Space Jam toys 2021 were available worldwide but not all countries got the plastic variety. This article is detailed look at the plastic McDonalds Space Jam toys with a few notes about the fiber/paper/plush toys that were given away in the UK and some European countries.

Space Jam McDonalds Toys Australia and New Zealand

The last time Space Jam McDonalds toys were promoted at McDonalds was way back in 1996 as a tie-in with the original Space Jam movie featuring Michael Jordan. These were promoted in the US but sadly McDonalds never released the 1996 Space Jam toys in Australia and New Zealand. Fortunately collectors did not miss out completely as that same year KFC released a set of 5 Space Jam themed character toys based on the original movie.

The Australia and New Zealand Space Jam McDonalds toys promotion for 2021 consists of 14 hard plastic toys and feature some of the most popular Looney Tunes characters including Road Runner, Lola Bunny and Daffy Duck. Collectively these guys are known as the Tune Squad.

McDonalds Space Jam Toys 2021 International Promotions

USA

The 12 McDonalds Space Jam happy meal toys promoted in the USA in July and August 2021 are identical to the Australia and NZ set. The only difference is that the Australia and NZ set includes an additional toy: Bugs Bunny and LeBron James (see picture below) which was omitted from the lineup for most other countries apart from Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Promotion started on 6 July 2021.

Canada

Canada along with Australia and New Zealand also had 14 Space Jam happy meal toys in total in its McDonalds Space Jam promotion. The extra toys over the US set are: Bugs Bunny and LeBron James and the Goon Squad toy which is a basketball hoop that features all the Tunes Squad rather than a single character.

Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia

Singapore had 12 Space Jam toys too during the promotion period (8 July to 4 August 2021). The same Space Jam a new legacy McDonalds toys were also promoted in Philippines during 9 July and 5 August 2021 and in Indonesia around the same time.

Brazil

Kids in Brazil had 10 McDonalds Space Jam toys (Space Jam in McLanche Feliz) a new legacy (um novo legado). There is no LeBron James Dunk and no Marvin the Martian in the set. The Looney Tunes characters are called different names in Portuguese too eg Sylvester is known as Frajola and Road Runner as Papa-léguas.

McDonalds Space Jam Toys 2021 - Brazil

UK

The McDonalds Space Jam toys in the UK promotion (21 July - 7 September 2021) are different toys altogether from the countries that got the plastic Space Jam toys. The UK release has toys made from a mix of fibre and plush. The line-up includes: 4 pop-up skill games, 4 plush basket balls, 2 card games, and 2 activity sets. There are also two Space Jam Looney Tunes books to collect: The 24 Carat Rabbit and The Kidnap of Tweety.

Cyprus

Cyprus McDonalds is already underway with reducing waste so Space Jam toys came in character-themed cardboard boxes as seen in the picture below.
