Weet-Bix Cards 2011 100% All Black Jersey Rugby Cards

The Sanitarium Weet-bix cards for 2011 were a nice set of rugby cards: 100% All Blacks Jersey cards. These rugby cards came in Weet-bix cereal boxes: three cards in the 1 kg and 2 cards in the 750 gm packs during the mid year promotion beginning Monday 27 June 2011. The cards which are officially licensed merchandise of the All Blacks are now collectible and can only be obtained from collectors, on auction sites and through sports card dealers.

There are 30 100% All Blacks cards to collect in the set on the theme of: What it means to be 100% All Black. A nice limited edition 2011 handbook could also be bought at the time to house the cards at a cost of NZ $5.99. The album has a page dedicated to each player showing their player statistics, the 2011 match schedule and a place in the back to collect player autographs.

These All Blacks cards are much smaller than previous years measuring 50 x 60mm. The cards are holographic on the front displaying two different full length action shots of the player. The picture of the player changes when the card is tilted. The Weet0bix logo appears in the top left-hand corner and the All Blacks silver fern logo in the right-hand corner.

On the back of the cards is a black rugby jersey with the player's number. The Weet-bix logo appears top-left and 100% All Blacks logo top-right. The card number is on the left-side and the player's surname is on the right.

Also on the rear of each Weet-bix card is a heat-activated thermal panel actually a dot which when rubbed displays the player's power rating. Players have one of 5 power ratings from 0 to 100.

100% All Black Jersey Weet-bix cards values vary but expect to pay around NZ $20-$40 for a full-set on auction sites. A full set and handbook in good condition is likely to sell for around NZ $60.


As well as the set of 100% All Black Weet-bix cards other collectibles were launched including an All Blacks tin and cereal bowl.
