McDonalds promoted Monster High happy meal toys at McDonalds restaurants in Australia and New Zealand in September and October 2014 along with Nintendo Mario Kart 8 toys. The McDonalds Monster High set from Mattel which targets girls is compromised of 8 fashion jewelry accessories with a creepy horror theme.

Collectors Note 

The Australia and New Zealand McDonalds Monster High happy meal toy promotion is identical to the USA release in September and October 2014 except in that case it was paired with Hex Bug toys rather than Mario Kart 8 toys. Australia and NZ got a cut down version (only 4 toys instead of 8) of the USA Hex Bug set that same year in a different promotion.

The McDonalds Monster High happy meal toys are a ghoulish set of 8 of horror themed accessory toys which are actually quite fun for kids to play with. Several are wearable: the spectacles, the bracelet and the hairclip. The other toys in the set offer useful items like notepaper, a pencil, and stickers to customize the toys.

Included in this 2014 McDonalds Monster High happy meal toy set are the following toys:

• Chilling Chamber Keeper - includes 2 sticker sheets, a monster high pencil, 5 puzzles eg noughts and crosses and 5 sheets of monster high notepaper

Summary
