The McDonalds Scooby Doo toys are made of hard plastic and look great on display especially with their spooky Halloween theme. Each toy has a different "spooky" gimmick. My personal favourites are the scurrying eyeball and the monster hand although I kinda like the Scooby Doo van as well.
Included in the McDonalds Scooby-Doo Toys 2014 set are the following happy meal toys:
- Monster Hand - brown hand with purple fingers and yellow fingernails. Squeeze the green lever on the side of the monster hand and the whole hand contracts in a grabbing action.
- Scurrying Eyeball - green toy with large eyeball. Pull back and go toy. Toy takes off and eyeball moves back and forth.
- Spooky Eye Cup - purple Scooby Doo gang souvenir drink cup. Inside the cup is an eyeball at the bottom.
- Spooky Treasure Chest - purple chest with imitation gold coins. Hole at the base of the toy to insert finger. Lift up treasure layer to reveal finger.
- Spooky Storybook - purple toy with Scooby Doo gang on front that looks like a book. Open up to find a ghoul spring up. Pictures of the gang solving the mystery on the inside cover.
- Scooby Guard Dog (Talking Scooby Doo Door Hanger) - Scooby-Doo toy with a curling tail that can hung off a door handle. Turn on the switch on his tummy to hear Scooby Doo giggle.
- Mystery Machine and the Spooky Shadow Show - Scooby-Doo van. Turn on at base. Push button to activate light show. Turn wheel to scroll through 6 different spooky slides. Best viewed in the dark.
- Mummy Surprise - green mummy hand with bandages. Grips objects. Picture of Scooby gang adhered to plate.
McDonalds Scooby Doo Toys 2014 Around the World
The McDonalds Scooby Doo toys were distributed in a number of regions around the world including Europe, Asia, Australasia and South America. These toys were never distributed in the USA.Australia and New Zealand
The Australia and New Zealand set of Scooby Doo McDonalds toys has only 6 toys. Mystery Machine Spooky Shadow Show and Mummy Hand were left out of the set. The promotion ran at McDonalds in November 2014 and followed on from Mario Kart.
UK
The McDonalds Scooby-Doo toys promotion in the UK ran from 24 September to 21 October 2014. A total of 8 different toys were given away at a rate of two Scooby Doo toys each week. There was also a Scooby-Doo! A Haunted Halloween book to collect. Can Scooby-Doo and the gang solve the mystery?
