Each pack includes 5 BlackCaps player trading cards. The packs given away in this collection are blind and foilwrapped so it is impossible to see what cards they contain. With double ups it was pretty challenging to complete a full set within the promotion period.
These cricket cards are attractive and have a glossy finish. On the front of the pack is the title "2015-2016 Official New Zealand Cricket Trading Cards" which appears between the large New Zealand Blackcaps and Caltex logos. Along the bottom of the pack is a tagline "the official fuel powering the Blackcaps."
On the front of each card is an action shot of a player set against a grey background. The New Zealand Blackcaps logo, the player's name and their position appear below the player photo.
On the back of the cricket cards are some basic player statistics: date of birth, year of debut, ODI Cap number and either a best bowling stat or a top score stat. The lower half of the cardback is taken up with 2 cricket questions and the answers which appear upside down below the questions. Along the bottom of the card is the player number flanked between the New Zealand Cricket logo and the Caltex logo.

Full sets of these Caltex New Zealand BlackCaps Cricket Cards 2016 in mint condition do not come up very often on the secondhand market on auction sites like Trademe and Ebay. The best place to find them is from another collector who is likely to have a few spares. They can also be purchased for a premium from Card Dealers for around NZ$10 each or more if they are signed by the player.
