McDonalds Alvin 3 Chipwrecked Happy Meal Toys 2011 Australia and New Zealand

McDonalds Alvin 3 Chipwrecked happy meal toys were available at McDonalds restaurants in Australia and New Zealand during December 2011 and January 2012. There are 10 different chipmunks toys in this set to collect which are inspired by the Alvin 3 Chipwrecked movie.

Collectors Note 

The Australasian release of the McDonalds Alvin 3 happy meal toys has 10 Chipwrecked toys as opposed to the set of 8 toys released in the USA, Canada and in many Asian countries such as the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. The two extra toys are: Edge Defying Jeanette and Dance Off Brittany (included in many Asian promotions). In addition this set contains the Island Breeze Eleanor toy which is different to the Eleanor toy in a green dress sitting on top of a pink suitcase promoted in many parts of the world including North America.

The Australia and New Zealand set of McDonalds Alvin 3 Chipwrecked happy meal toys promotion are all hard plastic figures. Only a couple of the toys have articulation: Awesome Alvin and Dance Off Brittany. Each Alvin 3 figure has its own fun gimmick as described below.

Included in this McDonalds Alvin 3 Chipwrecked release are the following McDonalds happy meal toys:

• Zip Line Simon - blue shirt and green zipline attachment.
  Attach zip line to Simon's hands and dangle him from one side to another.


• Leaf Ridin' Jeanette - purple dress lying on a green leaf.
  Push back and roll toy. Flick the switch underneath to have her spin as well.


• Theodore Bounce - with orange inner tube.
  Drop him on a hard surface to see him bounce.


• Smooth Talking Alvin - Alvin in a white tuxedo.
  Turn on by sliding switch at the back of his head. Press his top knot to hear him talk


• Awesome Alvin - red top Alvin with yellow surf board.
  3 ways to spin him. Attach Alvin's feet to board and spin him, turn him upside down and attach his hand for a spinning handstand or lie him down and attach his back to the board and spin.


• Enchante Simon - wears a blue shirt.
  Slide the switch on the back of his head to hear him talk.





• Beachside Brittany - light pinky dress with green palm parasol.
  Attach palm umbrella to green T slot and push pink star on her belt to fire parasol.


• Island Breeze Eleanor - blue dress.
  Wind up toy. (Differs from US and Asia release)


• Dance Off Brittany - (not included in USA release).
  Dark pink dress and yellow stand.
  Attach Brittany's feet to the stand and press the button to see the base light up and her dance


• Edge Defying Jeanette - (not included in USA and Asia release). Light purple dress.

Summary

At the end of 2011 McDonalds released 10 Alvin 3 Chipwrecked happy meal toys to coincide with the release of the Alvin 3 movie. This set has two additional toys than most promotions around the world. Also Eleanor is a wind up toy rather than the one that shoots off the suitcase when pressed.
