McDonalds Mr Peabody and Sherman Happy Meal Toys 2014

McDonalds Mr Peabody and Sherman was the promotion of McDonalds happy meal toys for February-March 2014 at McDonalds restaurants in Australia and New Zealand. There are 6 different McDonalds Mr Peabody and Sherman toys to collect in this themed set based on the Mr Peabody and Sherman movie. McDonalds also produced a Sherman and Mr Peabody movie themed happy meal box in Australia for the toy promotion.

The Australia and New Zealand set of the Sherman and Mr Peabody McDonalds toys in this promotion are all made from hard plastic and are of varying sizes. Playability on this set is average. McDonalds could easily have improved this set by offerring collectors in Asia and Oceania the opportunity to have the bobbleheads as well rather than so many maze toys.

Included in this McDonalds Mr Peabody and Sherman toy release are the following McDonalds happy meal toys:

• Sherman Flyer - white wings attach.
  The toy when put together makes a Sherman glider.


• Mr Peabody Maze - red maze toy. Sherman on front and Mr Peabody at the back.
  Manuoevre the ball around the maze with gentle side to side movements. Pull back Mr Peabody's arm to launch the ball.





• Sherman Sliding Puzzle - face puzzle.
  Slide puzzle pieces in place to make Sherman's face complete.


• Penny Picture Puzzle - yellow background.
  Move the pieces so that the puzzle displays Penny, Sherman and Mr Peabody.





• Wabac Machine Double Sided Maze - orange red hand-held maze game. Skill required to move the ball to the centre of the maze and drop it in the centre hole.
  


• Mr Peabody Magnetic Pyramid Maze - yellow pyramid puzzle with Mr Peabody figurine standing on top.
  Mr Peabody can be slipped in and out of the mold.

Collector Note 

USA
The Australasian Mr Peabody and Sherman set is similar to the US 2014 release but not exactly the same. The main difference is that there are more maze toys instead of the 2 bobbleheads included in the US set.

In some European countries (Portugal, Finland and Hungary) there were 8 toys available featuring Mr Peabody and Sherman including: a bobble-head Mr Peabody and a Sherman sliding puzzle. South American countries such as Brazil and Argentina had a different line up of toys.

McDonalds restaurants in most of Asia had 6 Sherman and Mr Peabody toys identical to the Australasian set except that the Sherman Sliding Puzzle was swapped in favour of a Sphinx Maze. The toys were available around February and March 2014 in India, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand. The Malaysian promotion ran from 7 March to 27 March 2014 and had the same toys as the US set.

Summary

McDonalds released 6 Mr Peabody and Sherman happy meal toys in 2014 as a tie-in to the Mr Peabody and Sherman movie. The Australia and New Zealand line up of toys is very similar to the US version except that more maze toys were included instad of the Sherman bobblehead and Mr Peabody bobblehead.
