McDonalds Shrek Forever After happy meal toys hit McDonalds restaurants throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Samoa on 17 June 2010. The 6 week happy meal toy promotion which is in time for the Shrek 3D movie lasts until 28 July 2010. The Shrek toy premiums are part of a global promotion being rolled out by McDonalds together with DreamWorks Animation which began in the USA on 14 May.

The Australasian Shrek Forever After toys vary from the North American release in several ways. Firstly only some of the characters in this Pacific region set are the same as their US and Canadian counterparts (Rumpelstiltskin, Little Wooden Puppet Pinocchio, Three Little Pigs).
Secondly the Australia and New Zealand set is larger containing 10 talking character-themed toys instead of only 8 as in the North American release. The 2 additional toys are the Brogan and Dragon figures. Read more about the

Each toy in the Shrek Forever After set featuring the lovable green ogre says several signature phrases from the 3D movie. Included in the McDonalds Shrek Forever After promotion for 2010 are the following set of 10 happy meal toys:
- Donkey
Put Donkey's saddle accessory on to hear him say the phrase "I don't know you!" and "Princess!" when you take the saddle off
- Gingy
Pull Gingy's armour on to hear him say "Lalalalala!" and take his armour off to hear the phrase "Much more for man!"
- Shrek
Put the baby carrier accessory on Shrek, the green ogre to hear him say "My little man!". Take off the carrier to hear "Arghhh!" and then hear Shrek burp.
- Little Wooden Puppet
Press the little puppet's nose to hear him giggle and say "Oh!" and "I'll never become a real boy!"
- Princess Fiona
When Princess Fiona is wearing her armour she says: "I am going to save my ogres!" Remove her armour (breastplate) accessory to hear her say: "My hero!"
- Rumpelstiltskin
Push down on his head to hear him say: "Ha!", "Haha!", "Hoho!", "Bap bap bap!" and "Rumpelstiltskin!" (same as US toy)
- Puss in Boots
Hear Puss in Boots say "I feel so alive" with his cape accessory on and "I've gone soft!" with his cape accessory off.
- Three Little Pigs
Press the middle pig's belly to hear them say "Ohhh!", "Uhhuh!", "He hoofed!", "He poofed!", "Hyaaa!" and "Yaaa!"
- Brogan
Press down on Brogan's face to hear him say "Ho." "Hh,hh, hh", "Hi. What's going on?", "Victory is ours!"
- Dragon
Hear Dragon roar differently depending on whether his accessory collar is on or off.
