McDonalds Super-Pets Toys 2022 in Happy Meals

McDonalds Super-Pets toys (aka DC League of Super-Pets) are the current toy promotion for May-June 2022 at McDonalds restaurants in Australia and New Zealand and in the first part of 2022 in other locations around the world. Most countries (Australia and New Zealand included) had 10 plush DC League happy meal toys to collect in the promotion which features favourite characters from the DC League of Superpets movie including: Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.

The set of McDonalds DC League of Super-Pets Happy Meal toys each toy features a different Super-Pets movie character. The Super-Pets are a set of plush toys each with its own thin thread enabling it to be hung up. A few of these toys look remarkably similar to the DC Superheroes plush toys released in 2021 particularly Wonder Woman, Batman and The Flash toys. It appears that a few cosmetic changes like eye colour have been made but basically these are the same toys.

McDonalds Super-Pets Toys 2022 - Notes for Collectors

Canada

This Australasian set is similar to the McDonalds DC League of Super-Pets, the current toy promotion in Canada which runs May and June 2022. The main difference is that the Canadian set has 12 plush toys instead of 10 toys. The additional toys are Cyborg and Lulu.

USA

To date McDonalds Super-Pets toys have not been released in the USA.

Asia

Meanwhile in Singapore the McDonalds Superpets happy meal toys were on promotion from 12 May 2022 to 15 June 2022. The only difference between the Singapore and Australian set appears to be the inclusion of Lulu instead of PB the Potbelly Pig.

An important thing to note is that naming conventions of the same toy seem to vary in the South East Asia iterations for instance Chip the Squirrel is called Super Chip and Ace the Hound is called Super ACE.

Indonesia had the Superpets McDonalds toys in May 2022.

Hong Kong had an identical promotion as Australia and New Zealand of 10 McDonalds Super-Pets toys in happy meals.

Brazil

Brazil had 9 different McDonalds Super-Pets toys (Liga dos Super Pets brinquedos / Liga da Justiça da DC Comics) in happy meals (McLanche Feliz) during a promotion that began on 11 May including: #1 Lanterna Verde (Green Lantern), #2 Batman, #3 Superman, #4 Lulu, #5 Ace, o Batcão, #6 Ciborgue (Cyborg), #7 Flash, #8 Chip, o Esquilo and #9 Krypto, o Supercão.

Chile

Chile had 12 McDonalds Superpets toys with the inclusion of Lulu and Cyborg. The DC League of Superpets promotion ran in May 2022 in happy meals (cajita feliz).

Europe

A set of 8 DC League of Super-Pets happy meal toys (Kuschlige Superhelden der DC League of Super-Pets im Happy Meal) are currently being promoted in Germany and include (Superman and Krypto A, Wonder Woman and PB Pig, Batman and ACE A, Flash and Merton). A book entitled Lotti & Otto is also available instead of a toy.

The DC Superpets toys are also available in the Netherlands between 25 May to 22 June 2022 along with option of a Tiny Detectives (De Kleine Detectives) book by Cressida Cowell.

Gibraltar has sets of 12 Superpets to giveaway starting 27 June 2022. McDonalds Malta are distributing 10 plush Super-Pets including the Squirrel, Green Lantern, Ace the Hound, Batman, Merton the Turtle, The Flash, Krypto the Superdog, Superman, PB the Potbelly Pig, and Wonder Woman.

The DC Superpets promotion which began in mid August in Spain is known as the DC Liga de Supermascotas and consists of 12 plush happy meal toys (juguetes con cajita feliz). Merton, Batman, PB, Chip, Lulu, Green Lantern, ACE, Cyborg, Krypto (without glasses), Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash are the toys included.

UK / Great Britain and Ireland

The DC League of Super-Pets happy meal toys were also available throughout the UK (Great Britain) from 18 May to 28 June 2022 and include extra toys: Whiskers the Cat, 2 versions of Krypto (one with glasses and one without) and 2 versons of ACE (one with mask and one without).

There are 10 toys in all in the line-up with the notable omissions of Wonder Woman and Flash. The toys promoted in the UK set are: Whiskers, Merton, Lulu, PB, Chip, Batman, Ace A and Ace B and Krypto 1 and 2. The toys come with a nice Super-Pets happy meal box not a bag.
