McDonalds Minions Happy Meal Toys 2021 Australia and New Zealand

The McDonalds Minions happy meal toys 2021 promotion that began in June 2021 has been underway for a few weeks now at McDonalds restaurants in Australia and New Zealand. This is one of the biggest promotional sets that we have seen in a long time and features many character toys from the popular Minions: The Rise Of Gru movie making it a challenge for collectors to pick up all 52 Minion toys on offer. On top of the 52 classic Minions happy meal toys McDonalds promises some gold Minions will also be available as it has done in other Minions promotions around the globe.

McDonalds Minions Toys 2021

The McDonalds Minions happy meal toys for 2021 come in a packet of two Minions and are identified by numbers rather than the name of the toy reminiscint of the good old days with promotions like 101 and 102 Dalmations. Some packets contain a rare gold Minion instead of the classic Minion. In case you are wondering all of the Minion toys are still hard plastic whether they are classic or gold. The Gold Minions concept has caught on and some of the rare Gold Minions are being sold on auction sites like EBay for inflated prices around the world.

The McDonalds Minions promotion in Australia and New Zealand is similar to Minions promotions overseas except for the number of Minions on offer. Many Asian countries had 35 different Minion figurines on offer in their promotions: Singapore (4 September to 7 October 2020) and Malaysia (1 October to 18 November 2020). McDonalds Malaysia even offered a chance to win an exclusive set of 35 Gold Minion characters.

In the USA the McDonalds Minions: The Rise of Gru 48 character toys were promoted during 23 June to 17 July 2020 in 10 different Minion capsules. There were also 48 of the rare Gold Minions available and happy meal buyers had a one in 10 chance of finding a Gold Minion in their capsule.
