McDonalds Lego Movie 2 Toys 2019 in Happy Meals

McDonalds Lego Movie 2 toys were distributed in happy meals by McDonalds restaurants in Australia and New Zealand during April 2019 and other parts of the world between January and April 2019. The Australian lego 2 happy meal toys make up a set of 12 different character toys from the Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. This set is popular with collectors as it includes three DC superheroes: Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman and has more characters than most other parts of the world.

The McDonalds Lego Movie 2 toys are hard plastic and come with the Duplo and Lego trademarks except for the DC toys. Each minifigure is a character face and comes with a large clip that can be attached to belts, backpacks and pushchairs and strollers. These clips can be detached from the face for easier handling and game play.

The toys feature just the face of the character which when opened reveals a game or an activity inside. Each case has a different game only some of which are attached. It is not uncommon to find loose toys with their interior missing so if you are buying these on the secondhand market loose make sure they have their contents inside.

McDonalds Lego Movie 2 - Australia and New Zealand

The McDonalds Lego movie 2 toys 2019 were promoted in various countries around the world. The Australia and NZ set (April 2019) was larger than many other countries that mostly got 10 toys rather than 12. There is no Metal Beard toy in this set that was included in other locations around the world.

The McDonalds Lego Movie 2 2019 happy meal toys (the Second Part) for Australia and NZ includes the following face cases:

• Batman - yellow clip. Contains a ball bearing maze game with the object of getting from Emmet to Batman. Card can be turned over to change to Batman and Ultrakitty.


• Superman - yellow clip. Score points with this ball bearing game.


• Wonder Woman - yellow clip. Quoits game. Has 3 yellow rings and a cut out of the alien inside.





• Emmet - red clip. Sliding puzzle inside.


• Rex - dark blue clip and back. Contains pencil. Pad with dots to play draw the squares game.


• Duplo Alien 1 / aka Duplo Alien I / aka Duplo Invader - green clip. Tic-tac-toe game inside with character heads. Also known as Noughts and Crosses.


• Benny - red clip. Contains interchangeable stencils with red, yellow and blue parts. Do a rubbing of the stencil with the pencil provided.





• Wyldstyle - pink clip. Fires orange discs on press. 2 discs included.


• Unikitty - white clip. Contains 10 miniature cards with lego characters to play a matching card game.


• Ultrakatty - brown clip. Contains pencil and some outlines of lego 2 toys to draw.


• Duplo Alien 2 / Duplo Alien II - light blue clip. Contains interchangeable parts on cards (8x heads, 8 tops and 8 bottoms).


• Sweet Mayhem - aqua clip. Build up bodies of lego characters with cardboard cutouts inside. Switch heads.

Asia

Malaysia (1 Feb - 28 Feb 2019) had 10 toys including the Metal Beard figure not in the Australia and NZ set. Singapore (7 Feb - 6 March 2019), Taiwan (23 Jan - 18 Feb) and the Philippines (February 2019) only had 8 lego face toys: Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Emmet, Benny, Unikitty, Wyldstyle, Duplo Alien 1.

USA

In the USA  Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part Happy Meal Toys were promoted in January and February 2019. Only 8 second part toys released in the US: Batman, Wonder Woman, Emmet, Sweet Mayhem, Ultrakatty, Unikitty, Wyldstyle and Duplo Alien 1.

Europe

Russia had all 12 Lego 2 toys with an identical line up to Australia and NZ.
Spain: The McDonalds Lego Movie 2 (La Lego Película 2) mini games toys promotion in February 2019 in Spain included a set of 12 in happy meals (cajita feliz). Omissions were Metal Beard and General Mayhem. The line-up is the same as Australia and New Zealand.

United Kingdom

Started on 6 February 2019 with a mega 14 toy happy meal promotion of Lego Movie 2 toys. Ultrakitty, Emmet, DUPLO invader, Unikitty, Sweet Mayhem, Wyldstyle, Wonder Woman and Batman are included in the toy collection. Extra toys include Metal Beard and General Mayhem.

South America

Argentina also had a set of 10 Lego 2 Movie La Gran Aventura juguetes which included Metal Beard in the cajeta feliz lineup. Brazil had McDonalds Lego Movie 2 toys too but I have not yet confirmed the toy line up.

Other countries known to have these Lego Movie 2 toys include:

• Trinidad and Tobago also had these lego mini games toys. A set of 8 was distributed in happy meals during February 2019.
• Lebanon

Metal Beard Toy
The Metal Beard toy as seen below was only available in some countries that had the Lego Movie 2 happy meal toys. It contains a pirate ship flag which is magnetic and can be used to navigate the ball through the ball bearing maze game inside.
