McDonalds Toys 2023 Highlights and Disappointments
With still quite a bit of the year to go who knows what McDonalds toy collectibles will be released. However thus far the highlight would have to be the Top Trumps Cards which are of the same high quality as the 2022 Top Trumps Happy Meal toys and a good example of best-selling commercial card games that can be offered as a special promotion to McDonalds guests. Another very popular set is the Super Mario toys even though these are cardboard rather than plastic as promoted in the USA and Canada.The biggest disappointment to my mind is the McDonalds Warner Bros. Anniversary toys that had paper heads rather than the aluminium kind promoted overseas. There were quite a few complaints on social media about it and I tend to agree these needed to be of the same standard at least that other countries got.
