Weet-Bix Cards Stat Attack 2007 Featuring All Blacks Rugby Team

Back in 2007 Sanitarium Weet-bix introduced the first Weetbix Stat Attack cards when they gave away All Blacks Stat Attack rugby cards in every box of Weet-bix cereal sold in New Zealand over the period of a couple of months. Today the Stat Attack cards sell for a premium and can only be obtained on secondhand market places and through trading card dealers.

The success of the first Stat Attack cards was followed up with the Stat Attack 2 cards collection in 2008. Then in 2019 Sanitarium reintroduced the All Blacks Stat Attack cards and continued the series in 2021 and 2022.

The 2007 Stat Attack cards came in 750 gms Weetbix boxes (2 cards) and 1 kg boxes (3 cards). The Weetbix All Blacks Stat Attack 2007 cards are an official licensed product of the All Blacks.

The full set of Weetbix Stat Attack 2007 rugby cards included 43 cards in all. In the collection there are 33 standard cards (red and blue), 8 legend cards (silver / grey), 1 coach card and 1 title and rules card. Also included in the cereal boxes was an official card box to store the card collection in.

Each Stat Attack card features a different player and assigns a special Weetbix power rating to him (used to play the Stat Attack game) which is displayed on the front of the card along with an action shot and statistics. The statistics include information about the player including: year born, average tackles, average metres advanced, test points and weight.

A cool design feature of these cards is that the rear of the card shows part of a larger picture which when 42 of the cards are joined together they form a jigsaw picture of the All Blacks doing the haka.
